Best of Both Worlds at Coomera Waters

16 April 2008

$30,000 boating lifestyle package on offer at Village High.

Two local companies Austcorp Group Limited, developer of the award-winning Coomera Waters eco-community, and Quintrex, Australia's leading aluminium boat manufacturer whose head office is located in Coomera have teamed up to offer property buyers a boating lifestyle package worth $30,000.

For a limited time, by securing a homesite in the gated Village High precinct you will receive the ultimate boating offer, including a Quintrex 470 Freedom Sport CV and the use of a 10 metre marina berth for 12 months in the Coomera Waters 72-berth marina, provided you settle by June 30th 2008.

Austcorp Queensland land manager Scott Biggs said the package applied to the last remaining six elevated homesites in Village High, which offered some of the most spectacular views in Coomera Waters.

"It's a rare offer that a dry homesite should come with a boating berth as normally this type of deal would only occur with waterfront land," Mr Biggs said.

"For those who aspire for unobstructed views but also love their boats, this provides them with an opportunity to get the best of both worlds."

Coomera Waters is a multiple award-winning eco-community which has been recognised for its environmental sustainability and quality living, created around a 17 hectare harbour.

"People dream of leading the ultimate boating lifestyle and with marina berths in limited supply throughout Queensland, we want to give new residents the opportunity to not only experience the enviable views, privacy and location of Village High but to also enjoy the superb boating community at Coomera Waters," he said.

"The Quintrex 470 Freedom Sport CV bowrider has a carrying capacity of five and is easy to launch and manoeuvre so even the novice boatie will be able to enjoy the lifestyle."

Village High is located adjacent to the 72-berth marina village and retail hub, making it one of the community's most sought-after precincts.

"Village High is only a stone's throw from the Coomera Waters Marina Village, which has unobstructed deep water access to the Broadwater and Moreton Bay, so it makes sense to give residents use of a berth which they may opt to extend at the end of the12-month lease."

Remaining land at Village High is priced from $349,000 to $423,000, with homesites ranging from 600sqm to 800sqm.

The looming sell-out of Village High comes after a successful start to the year for Coomeera Waters, with a $10 million sales swoop in the first two months of 2008 pushing total land sales past $250 million.

Mr Biggs said Coomera Waters' eco-friendly design, water-based lifestyle and its proximity to the M1 motorway, which links the Gold Coast with Brisbane, appealed to buyers.

He said with current legislation banning further canal development in Queensland, waterfront land at the estate had been snapped up quickly.

Only two absolute waterfront homesites remain – a 770sqm lot and a 686sqm lot, both priced at $840,000 located in private, gated, Buccaneer Way, considered to be the premier street in Coomera Waters.

Coomera Waters is located off the Pacific Motorway, just east of Dreamworld on the corner of Foxwell and Colman Roads.

The community is just 40 minutes from Brisbane, 15 minutes from Southport and with easy access to the M1 Motorway, rail link and numerous public and private schools with future infrastructure to include university and TAFE campuses, library, shopping and entertainment in the planned Coomera Town Centre.
